Faraway Festival Cambridge

Welcome to the Faraway Festival - Cambridge's newest boutique micro-festival! Since Covid-19 began, Dusk & Duchy has consistently delivered safe and awesome live entertainment experiences across Sussex. They now bring the excitement to Cambridge by celebrating the magic of live music, comedy and open air cinema at Shelford Rugby Club.

We have partnered up with the finest local musicians to showcase what Cambridge has to offer: Colonel Spanky's 10 piece Love Ensemble, Tasty Sax, Dora & The Explorers, Halo Strings, Roger Roger, Simon Day, Max Bianco & The BlueHearts, Eli Bre, Harri Beasley, Robyn Alverez, Mark Sheppard and Flint Moore! More artists TBC! Whether it's classic rock, acoustic, indie or electric string performances, there's something for everyone at the Faraway Festival!

For the comic lovers out there we have teamed up with Dinesh Nathan ('one to watch' - Fringe Review), Sean McLoughlin (best comedian you haven't heard of - Time Out - Ricky Gervais support act) and Ester Manito (just won best show at Leicester comedy festival), all MC'ed by the great Dave Fensome (who leads the late-night comedy at Brighton Fringe).

Of course no Great British Summer could be complete without bottomless Pimm's, Prosecco and popcorn at our very own PoshFlix; showcasing open air cinema with cult classics and new releases! These events will take place over the course of a fun-filled week with artisan food and booze options to tantalise the senses throughout! What's on offer:

Thursday 1st July at 6-10pm - PoshFlix: The Boat That Rocked with Live Music

Friday 2nd July - 17:00-23:30 - Evening festival: Cambridge's Finest Live Music

Saturday 3rd July 11:00-23:30 - Day Festival: Cambridge's Finest Live Music + Comedy

Sunday 4th July 6-10pm - PoshFlix: Bohemian Rhapsody with Live Music

Monday 5th July 6-10pm - PoshFlix: Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again with Live Music

Tuesday 6th July 6-10pm - Poshflix: A Star Is Born with Live Music

These are all day events, so there are a range of different ticket options depending on which event you choose:

PoshFlix:

Bronze £15 - Entry to the cinema with live music before.

Silver £25 - Entry and bottomless popcorn and soft drinks.

Gold £35 - Entry and bottomless Pimm's/Prosecco and popcorn.
