Faraway Festival Wiston

The Faraway Festival is finally here! Wiston Estate will host the West Sussex show this year on the 16th-17th July 2021. The opening night will begin with PoshFlix, a 1920's themed evening with Great Gatsby on the big screen, a Jazz/swing band setting the scene and bottomless Prosecco/Pimms at the bar! Fireworks and performers will really bring this baby to life and best dressed will win a prize.

For weekend ticket holders, Saturday morning will kickstart with Mimosas, breakfast and Yoga before gates open for day tickets at 11:00am. The MainStage will go live from 11:30am with a medley of acoustic performances, indie rock, folk rock (The Captains Beard - bring pirate hats), brass driven pop and funk band, 90/00's classics rock (Stacey's mum has been requested) and a string ensemble playing some of the best dance anthems to some BIG beats.

For the comic lovers out there we have teamed up with Dinesh Nathan ('one to watch' - Fringe Review), Sean McLoughlin (best comedian you haven't heard of - Time Out - Ricky Gervais support act), Stephen Grant (Komedia headliner) all MC'ed by the great Dave Fensome (who leads the late-night comedy at Brighton Fringe). The Gun Pub will be onsite with a large bar and will also host the Comedy Show under its canopy. Around the venue you will discover a Pimm's bar, Prosecco stand and Gin tent.

We have teamed up with an array of local vendors to bring a wide selection of food options from wood fired pizza, burgers and game meats, vegan options, loaded fries and many more.

These are all day events, so there are a range of different ticket options depending on which event you choose:

Friday 16th July 19:00-23:30 PoshFlix:

Bronze £15 - Entry to the cinema with live music before.

Silver £25 - Entry and bottomless popcorn and soft drinks.

Gold £35 - Entry and bottomless Pimm's/Prosecco and popcorn.

Saturday 17th July 11:00-23:30 Day Festival: Live Music & Comedy:

No-frills camping is available on Friday and Saturday night or for the whole weekend. Water points are available around the site but we would recommend to bring the festival classic baby wipes.

Parking is available on site with a drop off location for those arriving by taxi. Public transport is not possible at our event due to its location. The entrance to the event is on the A283 close to Steyning and will be heavily signposted.
